What is thermal imaging?
A qualified, specially trained electrician will use a sophisticated thermal imaging camera to inspect your electrical distribution system. Common targets include fuses, electrical panels, bolted connections and switch gear. The camera produces live images of emitted heat. Heat spikes indicate failing components, poor connections or over-loaded circuits. Thermal imaging also has environmental benefits. Detecting and repairing over-loaded circuits avoids energy waste. To the trained electrician, most electrical problems are immediately apparent on the camera’s screen.
Once the scan is completed, DanCan Electric Ltd produces a detailed technical report. We will communicate this report to you in a way which is easy to understand. It will prioritize repairs to ensure down-time avoidance, or worse.
We use a Flir E-series infrared camera. It allows us to find hidden problems faster and work smarter. No other equipment beats this camera for locating overloaded electrical circuits, energy waste, and overheated equipment.
